All About Miroslava Duma the leader of the “Russian Fashion Pack”

I don’t know what took me so long to write a post about Miroslava Duma. I saw her first in the pages of magazines and her unusual height (1.5o m) caught my attention- she was nothing like the usual models, bloggers, fashion setters. 

Miroslava Duma is a Russian fashion entrepreneur known worldwide. She is the founder of the digital company in fashion and lifestyle Buro247.com. The Vogue called her “a living matryoshka” in one of its articles and she is a one of the “The Russian Fashion Elite”, also known as “The Russian Fashion Pack” that include Ulyana Sergeenko, Elena Perminova, Vika Gazinskaya and Anya Ziourova- a group of designers, editors and stylists.

Mira was born in 1985 in Surgut to a politician father Vasiliy and she is married to Aleksey Mikheev, a Russian entrepreneur. They have two children, George born in 2010 and Anna born in 2014.

In 2014 Miroslava was engaged in a controversy and was labeled as racist after Dasha Zhukova, Roman Abramovich’s girlfriend appeared in a Buro 24/7 photoshoot sitting on the mannequin of a half-naked black woman.

Duma apologized for the entire episode, stating, “we are against racism or gender inequality or anything that infringes upon anyone’s rights. We love, respect and look up to people regardless of their race, gender or social status.”
