What Alessandro Michele did at Gucci Spring 2016 ready to wear is remarkable- the collection was pure joy- colourful, a mix of floral patterns, different textures- glittery, embroided satin, chiffon, lurex knits, brocades, and trimmings.
The accessorized, geeky and at the same time girly, vintage collection is so different from the slick Gucci aesthetic that Alessandro Michele’s predecessor’s created, but in a positive, full of life way.
After this mesmerizing collection, I bet Gucci’s fans will increase in number and also it’s sales.
