Don’t worry to get caught empty handed when last-minute guests pop by. Here’s a fast and easy recipe to wow them.
Ingredients (4 servings):
250 g heavy cream
150 g semisweet or bittersweet chocolate
2 eggs
2 tablespoons brown or white sugar
Directions
Separate egg yolks and put them aside. Stir in heavy cream with chocolate at bain-marie .
When the cocolate melts and the mixture becomes homogeneous, add the yolks. The cream is boiled for 1 minute (so as not to be raw). Use mixer or whisk to beat the egg whites with sugar, as for meringue. Add them over the composition of chocolate and yolk only when cooled slightly and stir constantly overturning content with a wooden spoon. Leave in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Pour into cups and serve from the refrigerator. You can serve with biscuits.
